Lumenore introduces an upgrade to its Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) framework by moving from a linear retrieve-then-generate approach to an Agentic RAG architecture with a self-correction loop

The system now evaluates the relevance of retrieved documents before generating responses. If the retrieved data is not relevant, Ask Me automatically rewrites the query and retries retrieval to improve answer accuracy.

If the system still detects low confidence after retries, it will request clarification from the user instead of generating a potentially incorrect response, reducing hallucinations and improving trust in AI-generated insights.

This upgrade also introduces multimodal support, enabling the platform to process and retrieve insights from textual, audio, and visual content. You can also upload images as part of their query, and if a relevant chart or visual exists in the knowledge base, the system can return the corresponding image within the response.

The system now supports ingestion of multiple file formats including DOCX, DOC, PDF, TXT, HTML, MP3, MP4, MOV, and more, ensuring broader knowledge base coverage, improving response accuracy, reducing hallucinations, and allowing you to query insights across textual, audio, and visual data sources.
